LOTUS DOORS LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY

Lotus Doors (USA) warrants its doors to be free from defects in materials and workmanship from the time of manufacture until the times/conditions stated below:

All doors are sold pre-finished and are not pre-hung. Warranty Period: 1 year.

ALL DEFECTS MUST BE REPORTED TO LOTUS DOORS BEFORE THE PRODUCT IS MODIFIED IN ANY MANNER, OTHERWISE THE PRODUCT SHALL BE DEEMED ACCEPTABLE.
Modifications include but are not limited to; trimming, drilling, installing hardware, hanging, and installing.

In the event of receipt of an unacceptable product, Lotus Doors shall at its option, repair or replace the door(s). In the event of a returned product, Lotus Doors shall not pay for the cost of labor, installation, finishing. Lotus Doors will pay the cost of return shipping of the original Lotus Door and replacement Lotus Doors.

Lotus Doors are kiln dried but are still susceptible to atmospheric conditions and exposure. The doors are a natural product and will expand and contract based on conditions beyond the control of Lotus Doors.

THE FOLLOWING SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED DEFECTS IN MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP AND ARE NOT COVERED BY THE LIMITED WARRANTY:

1. Warp of less than ½ inch in the plane of the door.
2. Variations or unsatisfactory results any material applied to the doors after receipt.
3. Natural variations in the wood color or texture of the wood.
4. Damaged caused by others or by any cause beyond the control of Lotus Doors including but not limited to damage caused by misuse, accident, mishandling, and by weather conditions or any other act of nature.
5. Fractures of less than 1/8 inch wide and 24” long.
6. Doors that do not swing freely or other hanging issues.
7. Doors that are exposed, either direct or indirect, to moisture.
8. The discoloration of any after market hardware.
9. Failure to perform normal homeowner’s maintenance, including maintaining the finish.
10. Attempts to repair damage by persons other than authorized by Lotus Doors.
11. Panel movement of less than ¼ inch. The panels are designed to float within the frame to allow for atmospheric changes.
12. Each door is hand carved and thus slight variation will occur from door to door. The pictures are an accurate representation of the doors but there is no guaranty it will be the exact door pictured. Upon request of the customer, Lotus Doors will photograph every door prior to shipping.

THIS LIMITED WARRENTY APPLIES ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THE PRODUCT.
THIS WARRENTY SETS FORTH LOTUS DOORS MAXIUM LIABILITY FOR ITS PRODUCTS. LOTUS DOORS MAKES NO OTHER WARRENTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRENTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

LOTUS DOORS IS AN IMPORT COMPANY AND DOES NOT MANUFACTURE ITS PRODUCTS. WE STRONGLY URGE CUSTOMERS TO CAREFULLY INSPECT ALL PRODUCTS UPON RECIEPT. IN THE EVENT OF A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, NOTIFICATION TO LOTUS DOORS SHALL BE MADE IN WRITING WITHIN TEN (10) BUSINESS DAYSOF RECIEPT OF THE PRODUCT. FAILURE TO PROMPTLY NOTIFY LOTUS DOORS OF ANY DEFECTS WILL VOID THIS WARRANTY. ALL DOORS WILL BE PHOTOGRAHPED PRIOR TO SHIPMENT, TO PROPERLY DOCUMENT THE CONDITION OF THE DOORS PRIOR TO SHIPPING.
